Use this tool to draw a straight line or a series of straight lines; with the option of adding line caps such as arrow-heads.
To change the width of the lines you draw, use the width entry on the toolbox. Use the palette to change colors. Click the start point then move the mouse and click to set the lines.
Right-click the end point to finish. Click and drag points to edit. Right-click again to apply.
The level variable controls the size of line caps such as arrow-heads. The ratio variable controls the ratio of the sizes of the start and the end line caps. Use the anti-alias mode to enable or disable anti-aliasing. When anti-aliasing is enabled (default); all drawing is done at the sub-pixel level to give you the highest quality results.

Options
Straight
This option draws a series of straight-line segments with the option of antialiased edges and line caps.
Curved
This option draws a series of curves that join points automatically with the option of antialiased edges and line caps.
