Generative AI
Chasys Photo now has support for AI Image Editing and AI Image Generation!
To maximize flexibility and compatibility, this is implemented via an API interface with plug-ins providing the final link to specific online or offline AI models.
A plug-in for Google’s Gemini and Imagen is provided as standard.
UI and Internal Improvements
This release includes the Quality Rollup for Q3 2025 focusing on UI workflow as well as the Security Rollup for Q3 2025.
The graphics engine has been updated (JpDRAW2™ v25.11), and we now have Send To Converter functionality in Windows Explorer.
Animation, EXIF, QR and TWAIN
Improvements have been made to animation rendering in Viewer,
EXIF handling (additional tags and unknowns),
QR code rendering (small size handling) and TWAIN scanning (reliability).
File Support and Bug Fixes
Support has been added for Sun Raster (.RAS), CALS Raster (.CALS), Aldus Placeable Metafiles (.APM) and Wireless Application Protocol Bitmaps (.WBMP).
PSD support has been extended to include XMP metadata and better error handling, and support for PDF has been extended with improved compatibility and better encryption support.
Bugs that have been fixed include Network Services returning truncated data, JPEG failures on Windows XP and memory errors when saving to PDF. |
