weird, two-step extremely unconvenient portable installation

I want to setup a portable Chasys Draw installation.
According to the docs I have to perform a two-step installation:

- At first I have to install a non-portable installation and then
- from the non-portable installation the final portable installation.

This is extremely user unfriendly. I have never seen such a mess before.
Could Chasys just offer a *.zip archive with the already ready-to-use portable installation like thousands of other software packages?

Peter

Hi Peter,

This is intentional, Chasys Draw IES is not intended to be used as a "portable-only" application. As pointed out under "distribution" in the License Agreement, you are not allowed to distribute the portable version, which effectively means that you have to build your own portable copies.

Please also note that portable copies may require regular docking to the parent installation; this is required because the portable copy acts as an extension of the parent installation, not a replacement for it.
