Welcome to Chasys Draw IES! It's been said that once you go Chasys you
never go back. This suite takes a radically different approach to image
editing, which results in a better editing experience for both new and
experienced artists. It is my hope that it will be useful to you.
If you
have been using Adobe's Photoshop or a similar editor, you should take a look at the migration guide. After that, you can
proceed to the introductory texts for the various applications. For Chasys Draw IES Artist, you should check out the
concepts section then go through
the various tutorials. Those of you
who are already familiar with the project may go straight to the
what's new section.
The
three pillars of Chasys Draw:
Character (no photoshop imitations here),
Performance (fast, efficient and stable) and
Innovation (new techniques and out-of-the-box
thinking)
amazingly flexible, amazingly powerful
The suite is coded in a blend of C/C++ and assembly,
and currently consists of four major applications:
This is a full-fledged image editor with free-style layer support and many
other cool features. It is the flag-ship product in this suite. With Chasys Draw IES Artist, you can easily create cool designs, edit photos, create
icons, print, scan, and do a lot more.
This is an image files cross-converter with a multi-core kernel. This
converter was designed specifically to take advantage of dual, quad and
multi-core processors up to 32 cores. On such processors, the speed of
conversion scales up with every additional core.
This is an image viewer and browser that's been optimized for maximum
speed. It allows you to go through your pictures quickly and offers you a
variety of features such as rotation.
This is a RAW format import and processing application. It allows you to import RAW format files from your digital camera and apply custom processing to them for maximum output quality. The result can then be exported to Chasys Draw IES Artist for further editing if need be.
